On January 6, 2025, Executive Decree of Necessity and Urgency No. 3/25 was published in the Official Gazette. This decree eliminated the Undersecretariat of Ports and Navigable Waterways (SSPVN) within the Ministry of Economy and ordered the dissolution and subsequent liquidation of the Administración General de Puertos S.A.U. (AGP). Simultaneously, the National Agency for Ports and Navigation (ANPYN) was created to replace them.
